I shall be taking a little break from blogging, from both Gaping Mind and Cubic Bubble, in an attempt to 'get my shit together.'

Don't miss me too much - Back Soon!

Page nine and a half.

Oh, Doctor!

<==========  EDIT: Vote now! What is Gaping Mind?

As yesterday's post remains unfinished, it is my duty to complete it. So, without further ado, here it is.

11 Questions from Aysh..

1. If you could change one thing about yourself physically, what would you change?
I would like a small button, at the back of my neck, directly in the centre, of course.
The button, when pressed, will then turn me invisible.
I understand that this is a question, not a wish, but I still expect you to make it happen, Aysh.

2. If you had to choose one song to listen to everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?

3. If a wizard randomly appeared, and offered you the gift of immortality, would you take it and why?
I would do what any partially-sane person would do.
Yes, I would take it. I would then put it on eBay and die a rich man.

4. If you could be one character from a book/comic/movie, who would you be?
Easy. I would be Nightcrawler, from the X-men.

5. Red lorry or Yellow lorry?
Orange Lorry.

6. What's your favourite type of food? (Curry, Chinese, Italian, etc.)
Italian. Can't beat a bit of pasta.

7. Are some people born evil or is it a learnt behaviour?
The age old 'Nature vs Nurture' battle.
Everyone is born with the potential to be evil.
Unfortunately, some people, be it through choice, influence or upbringing, choose to embrace the evil within.

8. Who is your hero? Why?
The Doctor - [Doctor Who]

One day, he's gonna come for me.
We will travel the skies and we will defeat aliens and creatures of the unknown.

9. What was your favourite subject in school?
I love all three sciences, particularly physics, because of my fondness of the stars.
But my heart has always belonged to Maths.

10. Do you think animals have consciousness like we humans do? Do they have a sense of selfhood, and are they aware of their feelings and experiences?
Without a doubt. My beautiful kitten, Frodo, gets angry, happy, upset..
He also has a sense of selfhood - I mean, he recognises photos of himself!

11. Do you believe in Aliens?
If I believe that The Doctor will come for me one day, then I have to believe in aliens.

11 Questions from me..

1. If you could meet three people, dead or alive, from any time in history, who would you meet?

2. What are you afraid of?

3. If you could fall in love and marry a fictional character, be it from a TV show, comic, book, movie, etc, who would it be?

4. You can have any superpower - what do you choose?

5. If you really did have three wishes, what would you wish for?

6. Which video game(s) leave you feeling nostalgic?

7. The earth is in trouble. The population has grown one person too many, and the world is nearing its end. It is your job to 'remove' one person, in order to save the world. Who do you get rid of?

8. What is the best gift that you have ever received?

9. Name the three most important characteristics that you would want your life partner to have?

10. Will you be participating in Black March? Be honest now.

11. Share a secret.

Double Tag!

So..I've been tagged..twice! In order to keep this post as short as possible, I will try my best to combine the two. I was tagged by -

11 Random things about myself..

I am: A fashion-loving student of Mathematics; A DOS-Adventure-game obsessed qualified Artist of Make-up; A 'few screws loose upstairs' woman of Business.

I am unnaturally fanatical  about Doctor Who, Marvel Comics and The Mighty Boosh.

I lost my mind some years back. I'm still in search of it.

I don't consume any meat (other than boneless chicken breast, occasionally,) cooked vegetables, seafood, any type of cheese other than mozzarella or cheddar, oats or seeds, olives or..
I guess at this point, it would be easier to just say I don't eat food.
(I do eat. It's just a bit of a struggle.)

Last year, I was diagnosed with OCD. I'm trying to work past it.
Dining at another person's house, for the first time in a very long time, this weekend, will most definitely be a challenge!

I value nothing, more than loyalty and honesty. I can, at times, be a little too honest though.

I'm not actually as grim as this blog may represent me - or not completely, at least. There is a happier me. He exists over at Cubic Bubble.
The two sides of my personality just don't overlap. At all.

I prefer to fall in love materialistically, as opposed to loving people. It's just easier  that way.

I am scared of the dark, tight spaces, deep water and spiders.
I fear people.

I'm pretty damn amazing at Temple Run, for iPhone.

I would die for anyone. I live for just a couple.

11 Questions from KB..

1. Do you like how your blog is?
For now, I think it will do. I don't love it. But it has the potential be great.

2. Is there something you won't like people to know about your feet?
I lost both feet in the second world war.

3. What was your lunch?
I haven't had lunch in years.

4. Ever been to Santa Fe, NM?
Nope. I do have plans to travel the world though, starting with backpacking through Europe this Summer.

5. Do you like to read? If so, what genre?
I love to read anything that can make me laugh or cry.
Otherwise, something to do with Maths, Economics, the stars or Nazi Germany? Not Mein Kampf.
The Book Thief is pretty damn amazing, though.

6. If you could punch your best friend in the face pretty hard to free your conscience of something, what could that thing be, and would you do it?
Yes, I would do it. (No, I wouldn't.) I love punching people. (I do.)
I would free myself of finding the thought of living more stressful than the thought of dying. Deep. I know.

7. Love or money?
Money. Without a doubt. I tried love - didn't work.

8. Are you straight edge? Why/why not?

Bear with me, as I turn to the Urban Dictionary, to try and understand this question..

...In both cases, no. I am not a straight edge. But thanks for educating me!

9. Burger King or McDonalds?
I don't buy food from either. I don't really do fast food.

10. Are you happy with life?
Sorry, didn't quite catch the question. Never mind.

11. Did you enjoy answering these questions?
More than I have enjoyed anything in my whole life.

I will have to answer Aysh's questions, and my questions, in a separate post, tomorrow, as this post is getting pretty damn long!

Peace out, brothers.

Page eight.

I should apologise for my lack of posting. It was due to a combination of birthday celebrations, food poisoning and mental breakdowns - some of which I am still recovering! I also have a lot of catching up to do, in regards to reading blog posts, so bear with me!

Anthropological Supernova

Just a short post this week. If you haven't already, have a read of Page four. It will probably make this poem a little clearer for you, but then again, it might not.

I can think of two,
That shone brighter than the sun.
Both, now lifeless,
But still glowing, is one.

Full of vivacity,
On life, so drunk.
Must be true, what they say,
Only the good, die young.

Each, in their own way.
It seemed the splendour of Science,
Had met me halfway.
See, he won’t be back,
That, I wholly accept.
But that one glow remains,
And my loss, goes unwept.

Complements of each other,
In one sense, they are.
For one was human,
The other, a star.

For a father.

One last thing.. Creativity is expressed by so many in such different ways. For me, this includes not just paintings and drawings, but music, fashion, literature, food, movies and so much more. I have decided to create a new blog, focusing on exactly this. Although I have not yet posted anything, the blog is up. I will begin posting very soon!

Be sure to check it out! - A Cubic Bubble Of...

(I should also mention that I have included a list of blogs, that I enjoy reading, down the right hand side of the home page - If anyone wants me to remove the link to their page, for any reason, let me know!)
